AS PREDICTED, the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone has reached 10 million sales in less than two months, the Korean phone maker has announced.
Samsung's head of mobile, Shin Jong-Kyun revealed the good news to the Yonhap news agency, claiming that the firm's Galaxy S3 has hit 10 million sales. As pointed out by the news site, this meant that around 190,000 Galaxy S3 handsets were flogged each day.
This news doesn't come as much of a surprise, as the Galaxy S3 has received rave reviews across the web and features an impressive set of specifications. These include a
4.8in touchscreen display, a quad-core processor and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, with an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean expected.
The phone also features Samsung's feature heavy Touchwiz user interface, an 8MP rear-facing camera with HD 1080p video, a 1.9MP front-facing camera, up to 64GB of internal storage, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity and a 2100mAh battery.
Samsung has hinted that the handset, which is presently available in marble white and pebble blue, will soon be coming to the UK in new flavours, which likely will boost sales even further.
