Kate Middleton Stars As Team Gb's Lucky Charm Throughout Olympics
Kate Middleton has been popping up everywhere at this years London Olympics, cheering on Team GB at the equestrian, rowing and tennis events, often with Prince William by her side.
Yesterday though, she went solo for most of the events and looks as though she could very well be Great Britain's lucky charm as she cheered on two impressive and victorious runs for our nation's athletes.
She arrived at Olympic Park by herself to cheers on Sheffield-born, gold medal hopeful Jessica Ennis kick start her heptathlon campaign, eventually being joined by former Olympic champion Sally Gunnell and Prime Minister David Cameron. Like Kate, Cameron has seemingly been present at just about every event at the London Olympics, which poses the question as to who's running the country?
After seeing Jess pick up a world record time at the hurdles, Kate then headed to the field hockey arena to watch Britain triumph emphatically over a strong Pakistani side.
Kate was eventually joined by her husband at the aquatics centre to work her magic over Rebecca Adlington, who was swimming in the 800-meter freestyle final. Although Becky was unable to replicate her success from four years ago, only picking up a Bronze this time, it's safe to say that Kate did all she could in supporting the nation and amidst the empty seats scandal, at least there's always one seat that's filled.
