The pop star has posted an ode to the "Novacane" singer on her blog, celebrating his decision to open up about a relationship he had with a man when he was 19.
"Be fearless, be honest, be generous," begins Beyoncé's free-verse poem about Ocean, whose latest album, Channel Orange, debuted on iTunes tonight in advance of its July 17 hard-copy release.

Little Blue Ivy's a lucky kid, isn't she? Mommy's a smart woman.
"Trying to figure out what to say to a million people...s--t, uhh world peace haha," Ocean tweeted yesterday, seemingly in reference to the well wishes he received after revealing via his Tumblr that his "first love" was another guy.
The New Orleans native prefaced the revealing post with this message: "We're all a bunch of golden million dollar babies. my hope is that the babies born these days will inherit less of the bulls--t than we did. anyhow, what i'm about to post is for anyone who cares to read. it was intended to fill the thank you's section in my album credits, but with all the rumors going round.. i figured it'd be good to clarify."
"I don't have any secrest I need kept anymore," Ocean wrote afterward. "To my first love, I'm grateful for you."
And it sounds as if there are a host of people out there who are quite grateful to Ocean.
Still riding the wave of good vibes, he performed his new tune "Bad Religion" tonight on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon—with an assist from The Roots, naturally.
