Spaniards Reach Swedish Open Final

The former champions David Ferrer of Spain and his countryman Nicolas Almagro advanced to Sunday’s final of the Swedish Open in Stockholm. Ferrer, ranked fifth in the world, had a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria, and Almagro ousted Jan Hajek of the Czech Republic, 6-4, 6-3. Ferrer, who is ranked fifth in the world, reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and the semifinals at the French Open this year. Almagro won the Swedish Open title in 2010.
