Justin Bieber will get the cartoon treatment when he joins Bart and the gang in an upcoming episode of “The Simpsons.”

The teen singing sensation — who’s younger than the show itself — will play himself in the episode, set to air in 2013 during the 24th season of “The Simpsons.”
“It’s a cameo,” executive producer Al Jean told EW.com.
“But all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he’s on,” he joked.

Bieber, 18, may have leaked the news too soon when he posted the announcement Monday on Twitter.
“Just did a voiceover for the SIMPSONS! #swaggy,” he wrote, according to EW.com.
The tweet was deleted, but Jean later confirmed Bieber’s role, without dishing out too many details.
“He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him,” Jean told the website. “Draw your own conclusions.”
The episode is titled, “The Fabulous Faker Boy.”
Other high-profile guests to appear in the new season, which begins Sept. 30, include Edward Norton, Steve Carell, Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman, EW.com reports.
